When I was asked to decorate this Oyster Bay, NY restaurant, I wanted to incorporate a New York City mood. Teal leather banquette and chairs, brick walls, reclaimed woods accents and of course a tin ceiling brought this vision to life.
Within this family home, I designed a cozy navy blue library, with a denim-blue velvet covered Chesterfield sofa and an armchair upholstered with a Ralph Lauren kilim.
Lemon, raspberry, lime, turquoise palettes are some of the whimsical and playful colors used for the children's bedrooms.
The client wanted durable covers that could be easily washed so I used a white denim on the couch to give this living room a fresh and crispy look.
With complete french influence, I used black and white toile de Jouy with gold grass paper wall coverings and a pair of antique chairs covered in black and white striped silk.
This Costa Rican vacation home was designed with Balinese and minimalist influences to incorporate the natural tropical landscape surrounding the villa.
Local wood was used for the custom-made furniture and cabinetry. The materials were chosen to have an organic feel.
